By installing or using WebPad Studio (“the extension”) you agree to these terms.
1. The service
WebPad Studio is a note-taking extension for Chrome. It is currently free. An optional paid plan for some advanced features may be offered later; if so, prices and terms will be announced clearly in advance, and you will never be charged for something you did not buy.
2. Your content is yours
The notes, pictures and drawings you create belong to you. You keep them on your device and, if you choose, in your own Google Drive; we have no access. You are responsible for using third-party content you capture or add in line with its owners’ terms.
3. Backups
Because data is stored on your device, clearing browser data, uninstalling the extension or a device failure can lose your notes. We recommend regular backups or Google Drive sync.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the extension for unlawful purposes, to infringe the rights of others, or in a way that disrupts the extension or Google services.
5. Warranty and liability
The extension is provided “as is”, without a guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from its use, including data loss.
6. Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version is published on this page with its date. Material changes are announced in the extension.
